Anyone know how the floor-to-ceiling interior height (aka "vision line height") of the 4G compares to the 3G? I'm trying to determine whether the new seating position is a true design change or simply a matter of raising the front seats 1" as a set of Seatjackers would do.

Why would raising the seats do anything for the “vision height” that the seat adjuster wouldn’t?!

Also you won’t get an answer until people actually get their trucks so it may be a few weeks.

The seats are raised and the roofline is raised as well, your head shouldn't be any closer to the ceiling compared to a stock 3rd gen.

I don't have the measurements, but it was discussed in one of the many videos out there.

There was a short topic on this in a video. They didn't give a number but noticed a huge improvement.

4th gen OR is exactly 4" taller than 3rd gen OR. 0.5" comes from the larger tires. Remainder is from the ceiling height increase.

That looks like the cab dimensions are exactly the same? They just moved the seat 1” forward to claim the backseat space is 1” more?

Apparently, not sure why the YouTubers are saying it is a massive improvement.

Guessing the cab is shorter on the XC.
