Aight, both my doors are locked and the key ain't working, so I have to take the mechanisms apart after I open the doors.
I know I've read other's having this issue but I suck at this searching. So anybody figure out the easiest way of opening the door, short of a claw hammer?

On those, a straightened metal coat hanger with a hook bent on one end can curl up under the lock button and pull it up.
Get it down by the door latch itself and you can hook on down there, too.
    Good luck

You did ask for the easiest way to get the door open. Nothing easier than someone else doing it :). Mostly kidding, as I realize not everyone has AAA.

Have you tried wiggling it open? 'sometimes' the latch is easy to defeat w/o breaking it.

About 6mos ago my original keys on my 2001 started to not open my door locks at all. So I went to a locksmith/key place like one of those ones in a parking lot in a little building. He made me new keys and made sure they worked as he tested them while I was there. All works great now best 20 bucks I ever spent. This may help if your keys were old. Good luck

My youngest is 53 now and 6'5", that might be a problem. Maybe I can borrow my great granddaughter.

Yeah it's time for some new ones. Of course I've been saying that for years now.

I recently locked my keys in the truck's ignition while it was running via an errant elbow while parked on a steep, icy driveway. I didn't think about the sliding rear window. Should have. AAA was hours away (I was in the mountains) However, I used a wood chisel wrapped in a cloth to protect the paint, levered a small gap in the door about where the door's leading curve goes horizontal and used a framers/builders square to push the button to unlock. I tried the coat hanger method without success. (Although I didn't have the diagram at the time.)
