All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Best place is in view but not obstructing your line of sight.
The Sliding Track Ball mounts that go on the top of the radio bezel are the best IMO.

I have had almost every type of mount. I ended up with a TPAM. If I were to do it again, I would do the same thing. However the link above is the most sleek setup that I have found.

Hope you never get in a frontal collision, where your airbag goes off.

I actually installed a 67 designs mount yesterday and love it!

pretty easy install and came with magnetic mount. I went with this model vs other DMM since i could put multiple ram mounts on and relocate them real easily.

Just got the notification yesterday that my DSM has shipped. I’ll post pics of my setup once I get it installed.

I went this route as well, I didn't want anything interfering with any of my vents. The Taco Rail is stout as hell and well-built. I struggled about getting a Hondo or the Taco Rail but eventually went with the rail, I liked where the phone could be set and how it wouldn't block airflow or my head unit.

Hell yeah bro. Taco Rail is so nice. I struggled for a while with adhesive mounts. Decided to get the Rail liked how it mounts to dash and is sturdy as hell like you said.

I use a Iotte one touch phone mount with suction cup. Product comes with a base plate with adhesive back for vehicles with rough interior surfaces. I placed the base plate over the left storage slot next to the steering wheel as far left possible. With the amount of adjustments on this mount, I can adjust the mount to be visible and clear of the air vent to avoid overheating in the winter when running the heater. Plus I can just pull the mount off when not in use. Base plate adds more options too for others who want phone on dash or wherever works for the user. I only use the mount if I want to use my IMAPs because I’ve got the older entune with know CarPlay. Link is below! Hope this helps!

Hey for anyone running the Garmins do they power off when the power supply is cut off? I had an old Tomtom that would not. I would not mind a backup GPS mounted somewhere
