So… I’m installing Bilstein 5100 with the OME 883 springs. The factory coilovers are being… well… stubborn. To say the least. I have The passenger side off. Drivers side - I just Cannot get 2 of the 3 bolts on the top hat of the assembly off. I’ve tried everything. Heat, PB, nut splitter, etc. does anyone have any ideas? Can’t get a grinder in there. TIA

Do you have new top hats? Just cut the old studs :notsure: sawzall or hack saw if you have to.

I do have new top hats. I’ve tried the sawzall to no avail. Currently taking an air hammer to it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
With these I just grab onto them with whatever socket fits them and snap them off. Shouldn't even take a breaker bar if you've got a little bit of muscle. They're only an m10 stud
