    Howdy,

I recently traded in an F150 with a POS 10speed transmission for my first Tacoma. 2023 SR5 Double Cab. I'm really enjoying it.

I want to add remote start but had a question. My Tacoma has push button start, automatic 6 speed transmission. I've noticed that the install with different remote start modules varies.

Accessorides calls for installation in three areas (to the left side of the steering wheel, on the steering column and and over to the passenger side kick panel.

N2 looks like they only require plugging in to the two areas on the driver side IF you have the SOS button on the ceiling control panel (which I do).

StartX remote starter install video shows installing into only one plug on the passenger side of the vehicle. Nothing on the driver side.

The variety in installation had me really confused and I wondered if anyone had any insights or experience to share.

Thanks so much! I appreciate the help.

    Jonathan
