I`am looking to replace my rear end on my 1st gen. Found someone in Wisconsin going by the name of Tayota parts and accessories Price is good but 2 things I don`t like ,1st the unit is claimed to only have 2k on it. Second issue is payment, he wants Zelli. I use paypal, he will accept it but only if sent as friends and family. I will not send funds to a unknown person. Only use paypal for goods and services. Anyone heard of this place or used them?.

what exactly are you looking for?

 

I know it`s just bs. Just looking for a good rear. Had the truck for 5 years now very happy with it. Big issues is the NE. Pumpking is starting to weep. I checked with my local yard yard and 3 showed up at 1800 with 200k plus. I did find one guy future north that has a tacoma yard. He does from time to time pocks up housings for southern states and go's thru them . cost is reasonable. But ar 67yo I just cannot do change overs like that anymore.

So your not only looking for a used axle your also looking for someone to swap things over ?

Are we talking 2wd or a 4x4 bringing swapping or matching gears into the mix?

This might get expensive.

Took awhile to get back here, life gets in the way every so often. Any ways I went with the person 2.5 hour north of me. Glad I did. Housing looked new, he did the entire change over including new seals the bearing were find. he even repaired my e locker. Price out the door was 1300.00 bucks. I now have a person I can use to source parts. Win win .
