4wdrive stuck

    4 wdrive wont disengage took off acuater sodered wires checked with voltage it worked both directions installed it back making sure fork was ingaged right still no luck pulled acuater of again tried to shift by hand it is stuck any sugestions on shifting by hand or unsticking the slide that shifts the 4 wheel drive unit

    Had a similar issue yesterday. 15 degrees out and truck would not disengage. Clocked the wheels hard right on grippy pavement and slowly backed up to get the front end to bind. One "bind bounce" and the system disengaged. Not exactly sure what was going on, going to assume it had something to do with the temp. No idea if it will help with your situation, but it worked for me. Good luck.

    I think my problem may be internal since i can not shift by handu wit9h the acuator removed.i should be able to shift by moving theslide like the acuator but i cant it is stuck

    Did you try jacking up a wheel incase the driveline is in a bind?
