I swear the hunting gods hate me. Was sick over part of the Holidays and couldn't get out for flintlock. Planned on going this morning after the rain last night. Went to bed at 8pm last night with a headache, sore throat and cough. Woke up feeling worse. *sigh*

So I saw a cva wolf v2 in Walmart last night for $198. We only have a 5 day ML season here and it's the mon-fri before gun season opens, so I likely would only use it a couple afternoon hunts each year... Unless ammo gets scarce again and I just wind up rifle hunting with it lol. That seems like a good deal, but I have no idea... Would any of y'all jump on it?

I really wanted to get into casting and when I saw that my gears started turning... That would be potentially the most self sufficient thing I could do; watch out, I'll be making my own black powder next lol

I have one in stainless with a Vortex Crossfire II mounted on it. It’s a tack driver. I have people ask to buy it every range session.

Well I may or may not have put some cash in my wallet to swing by after church today. Does everyone pretty much use pellets now or should I pick up the loose powder breach plug?
