Buzz from the Dash... Electrical?

Hi Folks,

New 2023 owner here - I come to you with a plea for help with what I think is a noise that hasn't yet been documented. I've scoured the forums the last couple months looking but have not found anything that quite matches it. Here's a video of the buzz.

It only occurs between 1600-1900 RPM and my foot is on the accelerator. Higher or lower revs, or removing my foot from the gas will make it stop. It typically occurs in the mornings (<50F outside air temp), after I have been driving for ~5 minutes, but I have had it also crop up hours into long drives. I'd say never lasts for more than two minutes in a stretch.

I bought the truck new and it has been doing this since around 3-4k miles. I have tried pushing (and having passengers push on their side) on the A-Pillars, near the tweeters, all over and under the dash to no avail. I don't think it's a rub. To me, the buzzing sounds almost electrical. I have seen one post where someone's ECM mount needed some felt and that is one spot I have not yet checked (might have the dealer do it when I bring it in for next service)

Open your glove box and check your cabin air filter. Maybe something is stuck behind there and certain rpm of the engine vibrations are causing it to make that noise. Just an idea

Noises are weird things in a vehicle. Ensure your sun shades are snapped in. If you have anything in your sun glass holder, glove box or center console, take those out to experiment. If you have tools and stuff in your boxes under the rear seats, same thing there - take them out. Many times, a noise sounding like it's in the front is actually from the back. I had some road vibration rattling that I swore was in the dash, and it was actually the rear seat head rests not all the way snapped down. One time (with another vehicle) I spent a week trying to isolate a "dash" vibration, only to finally figure out it was my garage remote that I had clipped to the sun visor!
