Radio Quits

I've got a 2021 SR5 4x4 Crew without JBL. I've had this issue for a while now and oddly enough it happened to me again in a 2023 SR5 rental Taco in Houston.

Start the truck turn on the FM and everything works fine for about 5-10 minutes then it just quits. The solve is to hit seek and the radio comes back on without moving forward in station and seems to not have the issue again till I turn off and restart the truck. Just wondered if I was alone in this?

 

I have never experienced the same behavior.

 

There are numerous radio updates.

They are all behind TSBs at the dealer apparently. Used to be able to download them from the website.

My radio did this constantly until I mentioned it when the truck was in for the clutch TSB. They said I was behind 4 updates on there radio which they did, its been fine since.
