Hey guys! I'm pretty new here and I was going to wait to start my build thread but I just got home from work and I noticed that I had a package at the door (sub box) so I figured I better start it now while I'm thinking about it!

Here's my 2003 Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner with 106k miles the day I bought it:

My first order of business is to put some better sound in. The speakers seem alright for now so I decided to go with a 10 inch sub first. Here is what I ordered:

I got everything except the actual Subwoofer, which is expected to arrive on Friday.

(had to grind the box to fit the sub in it)

    Future Mods:

    • 3 inch lift
    • 33 inch tires
    • New rims
    • Not sure what after that, open to ideas! :)

    Thanks for looking!

What kind of lift are you going to use? I'm pretty new to the whole idea, but think I need to do something with my new baby...

This will be my first time dealing with any lift for any truck, and none of my friends are into it so I'm going for a simple bolt on application. I'm thinking I'll go with Bilsteins front and rear, OME 882 coils in the front, and the OME Dakar spring pack for the rear.

Put in my cold air intake! Next up is my lift! Thinking I might go with a spindle lift.

i dont think you should pair 5100's with OME coils... you should use their... nitrocharger? shocks. did you make that sub box? post a vid of a song with lots of bass so everyone can hear ur sub!
