Just installed my C4 rear bumper and it looks awesome! Powdercoater even commented how well built it was.

Only issue I had during install was that I could not get my trailer wiring harness to fit. I had to pull off the plastic elbow that covers the back of the 7 pin.

Not a huge deal but I kind of liked having that piece on just to keep water away from the area. I tried rotating it a few times but just kept hitting the integrated hitch no matter what I tried. Anyone else run into this, or did I do something wrong? I was a little under the weather during the install :)

Eric, Some Tacomas came with different plugs that are OEM that we have seen don't exactly fit. Like you are saying they are pretty rare some the sounds of it. we have only heard about this issue maybe 3 times. I'm sure you did everything correctly just a weird thing Toyota did

Thanks for the reply. Not a big deal, just checking. Getting lots of compliments on the bumper.. and more importantly. I'm loving it!

I looked all over for the part but could not find it.

It's a plastic elbow attached to the back of the trailer wiring plug. The elbow wasn't tight enough to clear in the bumper so I had to just pop it off and leave the wires in there bare. Hasn't been a problem at all.

Realized I could just screen shot it.

Here's the piece that didn't fit in the bumper
