Difference between 2nd gen and 3rd gen Front Diff?

    Anyone know of any differences between the 2nd and 3rd gen FRONT differentials? They have the same part number, but just curious if anyone has any info on it. Thanks.

    Different gear ratios from the factory but Im pretty darn sure its the same physical diff shell etc.
