I gave up drinking beer for the ABV a long time ago. If I want something that tastes like a bourbon barrel, guess what Im going to drink?

 

Tequila is gross. That’s why I stick to bourbon

 

Agreed. I came up in the brewery world in Georgia and just got my fill of $14 beers. lol

Anyone know a person renting a house with 2-car garage, 1300-ish sqft, 2 or 3 bed, 2 bath, $2100 max. I want more than my 1 car apartment garage to possibly outfit my Tacoma and I dislike shared walls. Chandler/Ahwatukee to access South Mountain Park.

I think thats more about cost of living than weather but maybe its both. Are you not happy about property values going up?

I don't give a flying fuck about property values. I'll take lower property taxes and less traffic all day.

 

Interesting. Ive made a killing buying and selling houses in AZ over the last 5 years. I guess people have different priorities.

Property taxes are so comically low here its as if they dont exist.

 

I'll freely admit that we ran out of Ohio primarily because of the shit weather. Granted we don't subscribe to california/new york/michigan style politics and I generally consider myself a professional driver.

Property taxes here are hilarious they're AT LEAST half of what they were back home in Ohio. And traffic is what it is all over the nation, Phoenix is no different than Cleveland, Columbus, Nashville, Memphis, little rock, etc, etc, etc....

 

Another transplant checking in - although I feel like natives are the anomaly these days.

Just mostly coming here to say I'll take PHX traffic over the I-85/75 merger and going into I-20 in Atlanta, any day. Whole city is like 45 minutes away from itself.

 

I'm an AZ native and just recently got the fuck out of "Eastern CA"

 

I too am am AZ native.. and we are slowly becoming an anomaly. I lived in Louisiana for a year in my thirties. I loved living there. That's about the only place I'd consider moving to outside of AZ.
