Short list is Pacific side of Costa Rica, but we're looking into Portugal this summer. We may also stay in a place as long as the visitor visa allows and then try someplace new. Mainly, all I really care about is never experiencing weather below 32 degrees again.

    That sounds very cool!

Maybe you can get into a 70 series Landcruiser as a grocery getter over there. :D

Yeah. For sure. I've just been busy with fixing up the house. I just had an insurance adjuster here with a disaster recovery company and we have a propane guy here digging up our yard.

    Keep me posted on March.

I went snowboarding last night.... wasn't too bad, then the hill closed early because of cold after opening late...

@UrbanizedCar just joined, now we can tease him about his 4runner.. he thinks he only will be so welcome. he used to have a toyota pickup, that was pretty cool...

There's a lot of 4Runner envy around here. You just have to laugh it off.

    How are you loving it?

Yes, Nautical Blue. It was my favorite color when I was shopping.

It's great, we love it. Super comfortable and handles similarly to the Tacoma. Oddly, it's a year newer but missing a number of the creature comforts of my '18 Tacoma, like the key fob (you have to insert the key and turn the ignition) for example. It's better for camping since cargo isn't limited to the height of the tonneau cover. The wheels and tires are wider than mine, which makes me jealous, but it's running stock suspension which feels much better for daily driving but not for potholes and snowdrifts.

    Meh,
Made it around Europe for 2 weeks w/ a backpack, once.
If you can't fit it under the tonneau, you don't need it. :D

Camping isn't about needs. It's about what you can fit in the car.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Well, barring my coworker backing out, I'm going to be selling the Mickey Thompsons to him. They were good tires and I greatly appreciated @WiscoPat giving me a great deal but the allure of the Falken AT4s in 255 85 r16 is too strong. In the spirit of getting a good deal I will be giving my coworker a good deal, it definitely wasn't a get rich quick scheme lol. It's gotta be close to double digits amount of perfectly good tires I've swapped out now
