    Wiring details…

I have two questions at the bottom of the post and would love some detailed answers.

    2006, V6, 4x4, Base access cab

I have a good understanding of control circuits but I have a long way to go when it comes to vehicle wiring and its somewhat alien ways.

I purchased a set of wiring diagrams for my truck for about $15 from a site here https://portal-diagnostov.com/en/

The diagrams seem accurate so far except that some of the colors noted on the drawing don’t match the real-world ones on my truck. (Had the same problem with the drawings for my F250 but for the price the drawings are a good reference)

I am interested in finding more information on the ‘Driver side JB (Left side of dash)’, also known as the fuse box under the instrument panel. It is clearly more than just a fuse box.

The unit is made by Delphi and has what appears to be a part number >PP-T20< on the case. The letters FENA-APD also appear on the case of the unit.

I easily found information on here that identifies the fuses. Thanks Tacoma World people!

I would like to identify the relays, plugs and pin numbers. The drawings reference plugs and pin numbers, for example J20 goes to the clock and D13 goes to the left stop light. Which plug is which and how are the pins numbered. (I am not particularly interested in J20 or D13, I am looking for ALL plug detail ls)

Here’s a couple of photos of the unit.

    Questions

1, Can anyone direct me to a known accurate drawing source. I’m not looking for free info but I also don’t have piles of cash to purchase professional software that has the info.

2, Can anyone direct me to some very detailed information on the Delphi J/B >PP-T20<

    Thank you

    Zipp.

Aside from the Body ECU on the back of it that controls the interior & exterior lights and door locks it's essentially just a box of jumper wires.

I did a full pinout of all the junction boxes and harness joining connectors, it can be found in the post below.

If you just need specific diagrams or information there's quite a few members that will provide it, there's also alot of information, diagrams, and links to information if you poke around on here.
Or you can go get all OE information & wiring diagrams from TIS, just get you a 2 day subscription ($25) and download whatever you think you might need.

No further questions on that.... Amazing, !!! thank you very much Dm93.

I will gather the fuse box info from the thread and go to 'techinfo' to buy the drawings.

Someone designed and made it so there is always someone that has the technical details. The trick is finding that someone.

    Thank you very much.

Like I said there's really not much to it aside from the Body ECU which itself isn't very complicated, just basic inputs and outputs not really any smarts involved like on most modern vehicles.

The inner circuit diagram is included with corrections to discrepancies I found while doing the pinouts.
