I have a 2014 Toyota Tacoma pre runner XSPX. It is an automatic transmission and is only a 2 wheel drive. There has been a problem with it for years and I have replaced a lot of parts and I’m running out of ideas of what it can be. If you can give me advice on what to do that will help me a lot. The issue is that I am having a shaking problem that happens from 40 to 45 mph while on the gas. Up a small incline you can feel it more. now if I got faster or slower it stops shaking. The shaking feeling you can feel it all through the front of the truck into the steering wheel and peddle. Now I have replaced my transmission, radiator, torque converter, Motor mounts, brand new tires, rear axle seal and bearing, it has brand new brakes and rotors. Have replaced support bearing and universal joint for my driveshaft. The driveshaft was also balanced after replacing the parts. It has almost 200,000 miles on the truck. At this point it hasn’t done anything to Damage the truck I am just wondering if I can fix it.

Need to check front suspension and steering systems. Ball joints, upper and lower, control arm bushings, tie rod end, inner and outer, as well as checking steering rack for play as well as it’s mount bushings. There is a bit of an art to checking these, so some experienced help would be good.

my sons highlander was swaying and wandering across the highway. Replaced two bushings and like a new vehicle.

Is the truck otherwise stock or do you have a lift? Be specific on what is not stock.

    lift pucks, spacers, etc.

It is completely stock all I did was change parts that’s it. I bought it the way it is. I don’t see anything that’s not stock on it. Most of the maintenance was done by Toyota but the motor mounts were done by me and the drive shaft beside bring it to be balanced.

I will definitely look into the front suspension and steering system I’ll let you know if I find anything last time I was under there it looked fine to me.

That is why I suggested someone experienced in evaluating these components. Likely wouldn’t be shaking if everything was fine. Kicking and shaking the wheel is not enough. Need to get crow bars in there and check movement level under load.
