Oh nice - I was over at Stennis.

 

I was wondering how it was in yours and @Hunterdc1 part of the state. That pretty chilly for you.

 

My old unit is now at Stennis. I was in the Coast Guard Port Security Unit if you know what that is. Stennis offered up some space and the unit moved there because we do some training over there at the Navy small boat unit command.

 

Oh sweet. They definitely not short of land...that's how my command ended up out there. We used the river for some of our training too.

 

Its 53 now but I aint worried about it I work inside for the most part. Gonna warm up and rain for two more days, then cool off Friday night just in time for me to bust swamp monster Saturday morning.

 

When do the bucks start losing horns there? They've already started here.

 

Sounds like we could talk shop. ATFP, anti-piracy missions for your old unit?

 

Yes and yes. If it shakes out like I hope I'll share details, if it doesnt I prolly will too. If nothing else it keeps the iron hot for the next one.

 

I wish! That would have been exciting. We supported EOD with identifying underwater ordinance.

 

Central Florida is such an oddity, I really believe in the last 2 weeks we are going through a 3rd rut, but generally here pretty soon. I like to run and gun during turkey season in March looking for sheds.

We are adding our unfinished 2023 taxes to the prize box.

Whoever wins them is responsible for dealing with the IRS, CBS, judges, lawyers, investigators, and @Hobbs.

I've got a week to prep so I'll dive deep into Linkedin and try and get a feel for where my potential bosses came from and if they would be in it long term. Im being interviewed but I'm also interviewing them as well. I'm really looking forward to it.

Last time I had anything close to a job interview I handled it pretty much like a baseball free agent. Asked ‘em what they wanted to accomplish then asked ‘em how serious (money) they were about it. That got the ears payin’ attention & just a ‘lil respect.
