I haven’t had any issues removing/installing down to -20f but it’s been a minute since we got anything worse than that

This is a great solution I completely forgot about because I don’t use it for deicing wipers. It’d work perfect for that!
I move mine to the cab of the truck on long trips in the snow to clean off the led headlights when frozen or dirty

 

I silicone spray the door seals every fall to prevent the doors from freezing up.

Try silicone spray on the wiper blades or there is a type that has silicon in the blade.

Finally got my DRL/HL tap built thanks to caribe makaira and was able to tie the backlight to my ditch lights and the grille lights into it.

Installed the Apex Designs RCV-Rapid Connect Valve. Took only a few minutes to install. As simple as using the included tool to remove the stock valve core and install the RCV.

295/70r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T went from 32 psi down to 15 psi in only 40 seconds.
They add a little extra length to the stock stem, but I’m not worried about it as I’m not trying to be some gnarly rock crawler guy. Just looking for that softer ride.

I can't find the exact one I ordered, you'll probably have to contact them about it, but it's a Hurst T-handle (for automatic) from https://core-shifters.com/

To keep the leather collar down, I just went to Lowe's and got some oversize washers and multi-pack of rubber grommets (varying sizes). Once I found the perfect size washer to hold down the collar, with a grommet that fit snugly in the washer, I placed it over the shift rod. Cost probably $3 and I haven't messed with it since.

 

Finally pulled the trigger on leather interior swap.

 

For those of you who have used the set-up as in this video, what short cable are you using to make the system function? There is a very long cable in the Mini 2 box meant to be run under the truck's trim. I had another short usb cable in the house but it did not function, only the long one did.

 

I initially bought this adapter and it came with the short cable.

It's the 12-pin adapter.
