Can anyone explain why 4 day work weeks seem longer than the typical 5 day?

Crazy cold hitting many parts of the country- be safe out there

 

This is the low, right up there with stealing. The faith of society is crumbling. Integrity is being forgotten. I hope it all works out. It is sad that a camera is needed on all property now. House, cars, vacant lots.

We were up working on our front gate and some guy just walks out of my new neighbors property. I ask what he is doing he states what ever and keeps walking. I call my neighbor and ask if he has any one on his lot working and tell him the back story, he is furious and asked if I can call the cops, we do and nothing comes of it but my new neighbor knows I will be there for him if he needs it now.

 

It depends on how the day is set up. 5 eights or 4 tens. Those extra 2 hours seem to drag the day out especially if your day is particularly structured. Also, it depends on how long you're sitting in traffic during your commute. 10 hours is easy to turn into a 12 hour shift just by sitting in traffic. I calculate my workday beginning on when I walk out the front door of my house to when I get home, so yes 4 day work weeks can feel longer than 5 day weeks just based on all the traveling. The only thing that makes it all worth it, is the extra day off.
