2013 Tacoma Sport. I have KC G4 fog lights. Installed the fog light anytime mod years ago. A couple months ago I thought I noticed driving at dusk that my fog lights came on as I was turning through the neighborhood. Now typically I keep them on at all ties and don’t even mess with the button.

Now a few weeks later I noticed the lights are no longer on. I replaced the fog light fuse under the hood with no luck. Thinking it might be the switch or possibly something else.

Hoping someone has dealt with something similar to lead me in the correct direction.

There are various methods for the fog light anytime, which one did you do?
Check that the "tap" didn't sever the wire and the wires aren't oxidized.

It’s been so long. I will have to go double check myself. I’m almost positive. I use the jumper wire inside the fuse box under the hood. For some reason that rings a bell and I will have to go look at it on my lunch break today. I try not to ever use taps/splices on many things ever, so I’m pretty sure I did not go that route.

Fog light circuit is very simple, just a relay, switch, and fuse.

Fog light switch controls the ground to the relay and power to the relay normally comes from the right low beam fuse which the fog light anytime mod typically relocates that leg of the relay to a different power source.

So coming back to this, since I finally had a meter and some time to work on it.

3 of 4 legs of the relay had 14v when checked. The other was ground.

im wondering if it might be a harness ground of some type with the fog lights. IMG_9274.jpg
