    My coworker. I’ll never understand why he makes his life so hard on himself.

    His motorcycle was stolen in September. He got a call from a sheriff department Monday evening 45 minutes away saying they had it. He came in to work Tuesday at 12:00 then went to lunch. Why not get something on the way in?

    He was absent weds and thurs. Hasn’t shown up today either or called so the boss called him.

    He’s fine, he’s been trying to get his motorcycle. He tried to rent a U-Haul truck, they didn’t have any. (There’s many more places than just one in the major city he lives in).

    He tried to rent a trailer, they wouldn’t let him because he doesn’t have a brake light plug on his Jeep.

    He came by the shop yesterday to get the shop truck after I left. My boss had it. He went back home.

    He said they have a $300 impound fee with $40 a day storage fee he has to pay. Which I don’t understand, it’s not his fault it was stolen or impounded. Why not charge that to the guy they arrested who was riding the bike?

    In all of this he has yet to pick up the phone and call the boss. Had he, my boss would have probably met him to get it with the shop truck.

    Communication is key :facepalm:
