Replaced IAC, High idle. Please help.

    Few as possible, I really enjoy stock Tacoma's! Except small things, and maybe someday a supercharger.
    Do the connections well. This stuff is exposed to water, air, heat, everything. If you can:

    1) use water resistant shrink plastic butt connectors (like the pink ones in currygoats pic). you can get a box of different sizes on Amazon for cheap, they're worth it.
    2) use shrink tubing in addition to the connectors above. Either over or under the connector end and about an inch past that at least.
    3) Once done re-wrap the finished connections either with the factory rubber slip over cover if it's still in good shape, or a combo of aftermarket sleeving and/or electrical tape (the real rubber stuff, not the cheap nylon crap you get at the box stores).

    Do that, and it will last another 20 years. do it cheap, and you'll be tinkering with that connection again in a year or two at best.
