I finally got better tires put on my truck. Been thinking wheel spacers would give it a bit more aggressive look. What does everyone think? I know it's harder on wheel bearings but I don't drive it that much. Here's a pic taken today right after I got the tires put on.

If you decide to get spacers, stick with reputable brands like Spidertrax or Bora. Also, perform regular torque checks.

Get a good spacer like Spidertrax or Bora. Make sure hub and spacer are both clean before install. Torque spacer to included specs and you should be just fine. You aren't going to damage your wheel bearings.
Been running the 1.25" Spidertrax since June no problem. Going smaller than 1.25" and you might have to trim the lugs down. Going bigger than that and you could potentially need to install longer lugs.

Only issue is your steel spare won't fit on the hub centric spacer. I picked up a 5th OR wheel at a salvage yard to use for my spare.

That one might put a 'little' stress on the wheel bearing. :D

Spacers are trash. Get the right wheels.

Had the spidertrax once on my off-road DCLB , lasted couple of weeks I think. I took it off and sold it. It looked great but rides and drives rough. I’m used to the cushy smooth ride of the stock off-road. With the spacers on, ride is rough . I can feel the small road imperfections on the steering wheel and drives differently . I guess my age is a contributing factor too. I just like the cushy smooth ride . Try it and resell it if you don’t like it . Just take your time when installing it. Clean the hubs well. Use a wire brush if you have it . A torque wrench is a must .

I’ve had 2 sets of spacers on 2 different trucks. A 99 Tacoma and my current 2017. I wanted to keep the stock wheels with both trucks and with the lifts they had, spacers were a necessity to do that. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten them. I haven’t experienced anything negative from the spacers whatsoever and have been “running” them for years. Fair amount of off-roading and all that as well. I will say this, if you’re going to get spacers, spend the money and buy Bora or SpiderTrax. On my 99 I cheaped out and bought trail gear, I think? And the wheel studs would break very easily. I think I was breaking at least 1 wheel stud every time I rotated the tires. Haven’t had a single issue out of the Boras I have on my 2017.

I've used spacers from EZAccessory over the last 15 years on my Tundra, Camaro, class B RV, and Tacoma with zero issues. High torque, hauling heavy vehicles and off road use. All of them have been hubcentric and are torqued to spec. Everyone has an opinion about them. Just sharing my experience.
