Don’t hold your breath. My GF’s package has been sitting in the local USPS post office since Monday. Keeps saying delivery the next day and then when it doesn’t show up, it updates to the following day. Wash, rinse, repeat.

My typical day is meetings from 8a-2pm nonstop.

Then team members hammering me with decisions from 2p-4p.

Then my boss (Pacific time zone) wanting to “catch up” and discuss strategies from 4p-5p.

Then me trying to cram a day’s worth of work in from 5p-5:30p.

I deal with it because it pays.

I want to let everyone know that the Norovirus is running rampant in schools here in Denver & Aurora. Do not fuck around - its bad. :puke:

My entire house was sick as shit & I even went to urgent care for an IV Monday. I had low potassium, electrolytes & sucked down 2 bags via IV. Do not used hand sanitizer, it doesn't kill it. Vigorous handwashing is all you got. Currently, over 50% of the cases report are school related. So about 4 days of bed & diarrhea. My wife and son puke the first day, I did not. But I was on the toilet for 4 days. It took me about 10 days to get it and they had it 6 days before me. I definitely brought it home, I was a bit more immune because I'm a teacher. Most districts here are short on custodians and I had to clean my classroom myself. I never want to take Mylanta again. I cannot stress this enough. Probably drank 8 Gatorades this week. I said fuck it & went to Longhorns last night. I did not give a shit about cost. It was so good. I just got back from Smashburger & ate a double classic with sweet potatoes fries. :hungry:

I got the Chuck-Norovirus last year, it was absolutely brutal. I don't want anything to do with that ever again.

Since we've all been talking about delivery shenanigans lately...

The package that USPS said was delivered on Monday finally appeared today.

This whole "all the money up front" (or even half really) business culture really needs to stop. Nothing in the real world works that way so I'm not sure why it's tolerated so much by this community.
Yes, there are upfront costs. Yes, it takes money and effort to start a business. That's what saving, or investors, or loans are for. Gimme all the money and trust me bro is not a very grown up professional business approach so it really shouldn't be a huge surprise when businesses run that way fail

I just find it somewhat comical that most of the truck bed camper folks end up selling the thing a year later after their layaway investment and one trip to Moab.

that’s why I bought mine from a guy who used it two nights. I paid in full for a complete product… and now I’ve had it for over 3 years now.
