10' stake bed (with frame stretch) which includes true 1998 Toyota full floating axle dually including seven dually wheels and front hub adapters (5 lug to dually 6 lug). Power windows, keyless access, rear camera and windshield mounted mirror/monitor. Overhead aftermarket console holding Bluetooth microphone, police style map light plus two dome lights and glasses case and garage remote. Automatic antenna with defeat switch. Dash mounted switches to turn on radio without key in ignition, switch to turn on LED strip lighting in foot wells, glove box and behind seat. Complete coverage of sound deadening of cab. Component speaker system with 'mechless' Kenwood double din Bluetooth radio . Unusual tweeter positioning on either side of steering wheel.

My 43 year old 1980 Toyota 10' Stake/utility vehicle is getting a '98 Tacoma cab/engine/transmission transplant. The surgery is being performed by Legacy Truck Equipment of Santa Ana CA.
I gave the 98 Tacoma a 97 sealed-beam headlight and grill treatment. I don't care for polishing plastic lenses. The bed hasn't been moved over yet, but the suspension and '89 Toyota full floating axle and seven dually wheelset has.

The 'Crazy 8' reference has a 'legacy' that is nothing short of supernatural as you can see from my episode called; Speed's Truck's Crazy 8s here:

It's one episode of many. If you are not shocked by it, you're not paying attention.[IMG]
More on my transplant and upgrade later.
