Not worth fixing. One day I want to swap the entire console for one without the readout. Would rather have a cubby for garage transmitter or 2nd sunglass holder.

Got the truck detailed & while it was there i had him remove the pinstripe. Then less than 48 hours its snowed, so much for the detail, haha.

I was just replying about how you said it was not worth fixing and wanting a double sunglasses console and this is what I did for temperature/compass in mirror.

Yes I did see that. Have no use for temp, new mirror or compass. Have nav and camera on my head unit and I only use the truck maybe 7 days a month locally. Has not left the driveway in the last 2 weeks. For maybe 1500 miles annually the 2nd sunglass pocket would be more useful to me. With 87k miles on my 2008 my goal is to hit 88k this year. Patiently waiting for 90k so I can do all of my fluid changes one day. Maybe 2026 LOL.

Do you have a link for the head unit? Been looking at these for awhile now.

Was out running errands and I pulled the stalk for washer fluid and nothing came out. I assumed it was empty since I know that it worked yesterday. Stopped and got some fluid but the bottle was half full. Kind of weird. Still didn't work when I got in the truck. A few minutes later I accidentally bumped the switch for my ARB compressor and wipers came on. No fluid, just wipers. Since it was only about 25 degrees today I only looked at it for about 2 minutes. Hopefully it's warmer next weekend.

Went out to pick up some things and leaving the gas station the truck was really loud, sounded like a 90’s civic with a fart pipe. Got home and crawled under it and found it was leaking from the passenger side flange in front of the bigger one with the bolt and spring. One bolt was gone and there wasn’t much left of the other. Used some grade 8 hardware from the Jesus drawer and it’s good to go.

Bent some flat bar to mount a towel holder on the moli panel. Hand cleaner tucks up nicely behind the flat bar. When the weather is warmer, I'll throw a coat of paint on it. Towel holder is from Amazon and "clicks" every few degrees, so the towel won't unroll. 20240121_084219.jpg 20240121_084233.jpg 20240121_084243.jpg
