Is this legit? $259.99 maxtrax at Caliraised

This seems too good to be true. I stumbled upon a site called Caliraised that is selling Maxtrax MKIIs for $259.99. Most places, including Maxtrax USA they are $329.99.

Does anyone know anything about Caliraised, and what do you think about this price? Legit?

Yep they’re legit. Big, well know company in the 4x4 community. I have their bed stiffeners.

 

They are a legitimate company.

 

Cali raised is very well known and popular. I can’t tell if you’re doing a bit

 

Thanks for the confirmation. I haven't done a lot of mods, so hadn't heard of them. The price is just so much lower than other places I figured a quick sniff test with more knowledgeable folks on TacomaWorld would be prudent. I did see that shipping is nearly $40, so they're probably making some of it up with that vs. other places with free shipping.

 

I think that’s about what I paid for mine from a similar site. Well worth the money.

 

If *I* was a caliraised employee and wanted to drum up business this is exactly the kind of post I would start...just sayin'...because *every* tacoma owner on these forums has heard of them.

 

I thought you was complaining that they are too much money, not that it was a good price.

I could have used a set of these the other week. I got a van stuck, both rear wheels were off the asphalt, tires were against the black top but only one wheel would spin I couldn't go no where. It only took a light push to get moving once someone came buy and gave my a push. Rear locker or 4wd would have done it.

Maxtrax has a price decrease scheduled for FEB 1st. Some companies choose to update sooner rather than later.

 

Caliraised is a solid vendor.

 

So I already have a pair of MaxTrax that have yet to be used; do I really need another pair?

I keep my knock off traction boards tied to the one when I’m not on a trip. I really love all the extra tie down points they offer.
Plus my bed is still the same shape as when I bought the truck so I guess they work as intended lol



I just planned a drive from MD to Washington State and they will be coming with me along the way. If you guys have any products that need testing on an actual cross country trip, let me know . I put stuff through its paces.

I am late to the party. Is this a permanent price decrease? Amazon currently has the orange at $235 and lists regular price at $369 but Amazon plays a lot games these days.

I assume Maxtrax lowered the price to compete with ARB Tred GT (which my understanding is ARB says these are comparable to the MaxTrax MKII but I could be wrong)?
