IMG_8797.jpg Took it to the ski resort. Despite a butt-ton of snow and temperatures hovering near freezing, only needed 4WD on the resort road to the parking lot. Having a few hundred kilograms of snow for ballast definitely helps.

I'm using the DMM and Taco Garage Mighty Magnet, super strong. The pics posted were from the original post, stating they were using the carbon fiber mounts. Not sure of there name, not my set-up. Hope this helps

CaliRaised cat shields installed tonight. Reasonably easy mod for a little peace of mind.

Seat jackers clones installed on Friday. I am pleasantly surprised at how much of an improvement the 1.25" makes for seating comfort.

They are from eBay. I searched "seat jackers Tacoma", and picked a pair that was low priced and from the USA.

Amazing how much lint/dust shows with the flash on these phone cameras. I literally just peeled the protective plastic off of the lens cover. o_O

I wasn’t able to heat shrink the Dongar adapter today since I didn’t have a big enough heat shrink tube in my toolbox. Will have to pick some up this week. I’ll post when it’s all buttoned up.

These were probably cheap Amazon stickers (the wife bought them, so I don't have the details). This one came as 3 separate rectangular stickers. I cut the top/bottom at an angle to get that tilt using a sharp razor blade and a metal straight edge, but it wasn't great at keeping the cut straight. Then I had to peel each color off the backing and place them one at a time. Took a couple tries to get them lined up.

Edit: Remember to prep the surface - clean it well.

Do not share this with your wife ...

Years ago when gadget watches had more computing power than phones, a co-worker had commented to his wife about how interesting the watches that are also TVs remotes were. He really JUST meant "interesting", not worth buying.

She bought it for him anyway and he wore it everyday, never letting on to the truth ...

One of my greatest fears is that one of my brothers will spend $4000 on an HP laptop for me because the salesman said it was the greatest. I buy my own self-selected MacbookPro systems for $4500 because Winblows systems are horrible ... would feel horrible returning such a well-intentioned and expensive gift.

Like the tire savers, do you have a link to where you got them? My truck sits sometimes, never saw these before, tires definitely flat spot! TIA
