Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
    Lovely, good stuff.

Spent a lot of time ice fishing in BC. Every winter we would do a few trips with the family, and just park out on the ice and usually for a couple of nights each trip. Mom, dad, me and my brother sleeping side by side squished into the back of our old Ford panel truck.

Ice usually well over 2 foot thick.

Canim lake, Sheridan lake, Beaverdam lake, Deka lake, too many to count. Lots of trout, catch limits back then were typically 8 trout per day per person. Fry them same day, then can and smoke the rest.

Clear the snow off the ice and play ice hockey all day too.

Was just checking that spot out online. Does it have a lot of rated trails? Obstacle courses? BTW welcome to TW!

Thanks, Carnegie just has a 5 acre 4x4 area it's mainly a motorcross, sxs or atv park, here are some of the obstacles. There was another section called the "trial section" which was gated off when I went, but from what I saw was more for straight axle crawlers. Pretty fun and would recommend checking it out for a weekend.

Thanks. I was looking online and they didn’t have a whole lot of info, so thanks for sharing the pics.

I also found Frank Raines SVRA is about 45 minutes from there with a little bit of everything for 4x4s. Green, blue and black trails. Want to check it out this spring.

I’m in the Monterey area, so Hollister Hills is only about 45 minutes away. Have you ever been there? If not, let me know if you want to check it out sometime. They’ve got a couple of fun obstacle courses and lots of trails.

We only got up about 2-3 miles before turning around due to growing depth and breadth of mud. Beautiful day!

I don't recall ever having a vehicle with Firestones, but these stock tires handled well in the mud. Of course I kept it mellow, so maybe I wasn't asking too much of them? I was pleasantly surprised nonetheless.

What better time to hit the trail than during a severe winter storm warning?
