Local Nissan dealer is advertising 10k off the msrp of a Nissan titan pro4x. Final price not including ttl $55k. Are they good trucks? Is that a good deal? Just kicking the tires

I traded in my Tacoma and got myself a 2021 Titan Pro-4x. It was a great truck. Wish I kept it. Factory 5 year 100k warranty too. 0 percent interest I had on it. Only downside was going to trade it in. They don’t have good resale value.

Edmunds rates the Tundra and Tacoma higher.

I dunno for 55k (or less) you can get a nice TRD,
Nissan makes a good truck no doubt, but resale on a TRD would be better.

I looked at both Nissan and Tacoma trucks, thought the Tacoma was better all around.
    A bit more expensive tho.

They aren’t bad trucks, the problem is no one wants them, they can be quite hard to sell.

The 5.6 is a great motor (minus the timing cover leaks). They’re really nice trucks with a good warranty, but like others said the resale sucks. So if you’re keeping it forever, then I’d do it.

I was looking at aTitan S king cab a while back can't recall if it was a 22 or a 23. It was down around $45k MSRP or a few k off. I think it finally sold, and it wasn't getting marked down past what ever the lowest advertised price I saw. Seemed like one of the most basic full size out there. I think they had another coming in, for some reason those lower trims sell better. The Titan was only a few k more than a heavily optioned Frontier SV king cab.

    exactly
If you are going to keep it til it rusts away, Nissan trucks are GTG. If you have the desire for a new to every 24-48 months, I would look elsewhere. Given you are in a 22 and as of the past few months shopping for doodads, and now considering new,,,, I would guess you are the latter,, but situations change.

    What do I think?

I think the front end is ugly, $50k is a lot for an inefficient regular gas V8, and is odd to be called Pro and Extreme coming with 4600 pencil shocks

for that price I’d be looking at cool things like a diesel gladiator rubicon that has more rear legroom and power than a Tacoma and more benefits than 4600’s

Not really just thought that a full size with all the off road goodies for $55k was pretty good.

No money, all went to truck...
I remember at one point sales were so bad on the Titan and the Leaf that Nissan was giving free 3 year leases on Leaf's with purchase of a Titan.

I feel like Titans are some of the best sounding trucks with good exhausts.

I just saw a nice Titan yesterday. It had a front bench seat and had 6 passengers in the cab. I wish more trucks had front bench seats.
