2019 tacoma with the fogster installed.

Can I modify it with another switch, so I can turn off the fog lights while the high beams are on? Right now, because of the fogster, the fog lights are always on with high beams. No exceptions. I actually thought the fog light switch could turn the fog lights on and off while the high beams are on. Nope.

I'm willing to install another switch (with relay) to eliminate the fogster module while high beams are on, just so the fog lights turn off!

I'm not really not interested in installing the fogster anytime product at this time as I bought the product used on the TW marketplace.

I'd like to turn the fog lights off for highway driving, eye fatigue, etc.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

"With The Brite Box Anytime, you'll gain full control of your fog lights and be able to operate them on any light setting such as no headlights, with daytime running lights and with high beams. The Brite Box Anytime requires an additional switch and includes a stylish universal switch that can be mounted anywhere with 3M double sided tape." So the site states...

    • Option 2:The Brite Box Anytime - gives you full control of your fog lights. This kit will allow you to turn your fog lights on in any light setting such as no headlights, with daytime running lights, and with high beams.
The Brite Box AnytimeREQUIRES A SWITCH to turn your fog lights on at any time.

    The Brite Box Anytime

    • Step 1: Connect to fog light
    • Step 2: Run switch wire through fire wall
    • Step 3: Connect to switch
    • Step 4: Connect to battery
    • Step 5: That's it!

Thanks... I just tested it out. Confirmed!

    • OEM fog lights still perform as designed when the Fogster positive wire is removed from the battery (the Fogster box does not mess with normal fog light control),
    • Fogster high beam "fog lights" turn off when I remove the positive wire from the battery (of course, disconnecting power to the Fogster).

So, it looks like all I need is a switch (w/ relay?) to disconnect/connect power to the Fogster when needed. :notsure:
