Recently had a bit o' weirdness with my truck. Check engine light and Trac Off lights came on simultaneously with a trouble code of A2441. The A2441 comes back as a bolt on the intake just needs tightening, but, I'm wondering about why the Trac Off light came on too? Anyone experience this?

Also, separately, I have had a constant rhythmic "wumm, wumm" sound and vibration coming from the front during operation. It happens whether I'm in 2x4 or 4x4. I noticed a torn CV boot on the drivers side CV Axle and replaced it. Sound and vib still occur. I'm really hoping it's not the front diff. Any clues on this as well would be greatly appreciated. I hope everyone has an awesome day.

    I'm assuming you mean P2441?
If so that is for the Bank 1 Secondary Air Switching Valve being stuck closed, nothing to do with any intake bolts.
Sometimes the valves can be taken apart and cleaned up but most of the time they have to be replaced, they are only serviced as an assembly.

The Traction Control is disabled when there is any code present in the PCM that turns on the Check Engine Light, this is because the Traction Control System relies on the Engine Control System to be functioning properly.

The noise your hearing sounds like either a wheel bearing failing or a bad tire, need to get the wheels off the ground and see if any of the bearings have play and/or are noisy.

Yes, apologies, P2441. Tires are only about 9 months old and the noise was present prior to getting new tires.

If you have any kind of lift the hum may be the driver's side needle bearing. It's a common problem and if you search "ECGS bearing removal tool" you'll get a way to confirm the diagnosis and a replacement tutorial.
