Any chance this can be flush mounted like the stinger? I'm guessing no because theres literally nothing online that I can find buy figured I'd ask. I'm just not a huge fan of the floating displays...

I doubt it, considering that’s a 10.1” screen and the Stinger Elev8 is an 8” screen

Im talking about the Stinger Heigh10 - it has a special flush mount for Tacoma and its 10.1". I like the Stinger, but the Kenwood is a better stereo

Didn’t know they made one for the 10”, but that looks hideous now that I’ve looked it up

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
I’m sure it’s not impossible you would need to find a ribbon cable that would match the brain side of the radio and the screen side so you can relocate the actual radio portion so we’re else of find a way to make it sit further back in your dash then a badass fabricator to make it look good. I flushed the 8 inch stinger in my truck looked good I’ve installed a bunch of the pioneers that also sit flush with their big screen and I’ve done the 10 inch stinger. I’ve heard of people flush mounting the alpine halo units by getting their hands on a harness that allows them to move the brain somewhere else. I don’t thknk the 10 inch kenwood screen would set well in the dash though

I'd love to figure it out. Apparently those floating screens require some kind of special bracket before it will power on and this seems to be the limiting factor in using aftermarket mounts. At least from what I have found scrounging around online

Just installed the DMX1057XR and would also prefer it to be flush mounted if possible
