Is it illegal to have loud aftermarket exhaust? For a motorcycle as well? Also what are requirements for license plates? Can we trust the internet aftermarket mufflers?

I think it depends on the state and local laws. Not sure about where I live, but if there is a law for loud pipes, it is not enforced.
Plate just has to be visible from the rear and lit up at night.
