    Calling all taco owners!!!
I own a 2015 4.0 tacoma Trd Sport and I currently have a battery light that’s been on for months. I replaced the alternator with an OEM model from Toyota and also replaced the battery.
    -Voltage at idle 13.5
    -Voltage at full load 13.8
I tried running a jumper from the negative battery terminal to a conductive part of the engine running for a half hour and still nothing.
Everyone I talk to tells me that I have a bad alternator however I’m not convinced. If anyone has experienced an issue similar to this or has any input on the matter I’d love to hear it.

I've seen corroded connector to alternator. Pull off the plug and inspect pins as a starting point.

It can be a bastard, its already hard to get to the alternator then you have to look at the potential chance of a wiring fault.

After that you'd have to check the circuit from the alternator pin to the gauge cluster. Someone should be able to share the schematic for that. @Dm93
