What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

A switch panel is a switch panel. Given the job it functions how many iterations of it do you think there will be?

 

I have the drive reach overland installed which I bought directly from their site. WE is for Wilson electronics just to share that tidbit. I mostly got it because I live in the sticks and would lose service on my drive home or not have enough service for my pandora music in the morning and it solved that issue very well. Now I can drive around and my music continues to play. It does NOT give you service if there is none as stated by them on their site, what it does is amplify the terrible signal I had (one bar in and out) to be 2 bars on my samsung phone and usable. I mounted the antenna to my rear most roof rack bar and it folds down towards the shark fin.It took some thinking to get it to mount to the alpha rack but I'm very happy with it overall. As for the rest the interior antenna is mounted up behind me mirror to the windshield and the booster itself is of course on the passenger bracket as I previously posted.any other questions feel free to ask and if you would like pictures of anything I'm here to help.

 

Well I found this one the other day and it is water proof and each button is digital and can be programmed to whatever image you want even a custom photo of your mods. Very cool idea and I will be getting it when I can justify dropping that change on it

 

We have one in our trailer and it actually works well. No bars or on bar on phone. With the weboost we get 1-2 bars when there are zero on the phone.

 

$1200 to do what my Auxpro does for $160. At least they give you free delivery.

Yes and no. Obviously very expensive but it is waterproof which most switches aren't. It's built for utvs and offroad use so just in case you get wild in a river crossing or leave windows down in the rain it wouldn't be a worry. Also each button can be programmed individually for multiple functions be it controll roof lights or roof lights and rock lights together so a ton of programmable options. The fact that you can put a picture of your actual ditch lights or other accessories for off and then it change when on like the backlighting on my rigid lighting would be really cool. But I do get its not for everyone especiallyat that price. For me personally, I like getting the goods for my truck even though it typically destroys any money in the wallet

Money wasn't as much of an issue before finding this site I must admit. All the great mod ideas and beautiful builds definitely hurt the savings. It has taken me years to build my truck to my liking But on that note you can't take money with you when you die so might as well spend it to live the life you want.

 

Either money isn't an issue or you don't have, or plan to have children. And if you do have children, and you posted that, something is wrong with you, unless, like I said, money isn't a concern.

SMD LED's removed and relocation cable soldered and held in place with hot snot.



3D printed alignment bracket for AT&T pad guts that are connected to USB-C cable.



Charging pad support installed.



LED bracket installed and two T-1 LEDs soldered to the relocation cable.



Connected the DC-DC converter to the USB-C cable and then connected to the harness for the factory charger.
Done!

 

I don't miss my kids growing up. Like them right where they are. Well, I guess I'll miss that last few years watching the kid, but things move on.

I do have a kid but I also won't argue there is alot wrong with me and im ok with that. He doesn't want for many things I must say. we did make it a point to teach him about responsibilities ,hard work and good ethics so he should have no issues with money himself, and in the case he does that's what family is for.. support when you get knocked down. Remember rocky said it isn't about how hard you can hit because nobody hits harder than life,it's about how hard you can get hit and get back up. He is very good at working through the issues that have came his way and I'm very proud of him for that. Back at the point though if you only worry about money you miss out on all the free and beautiful things life has to offer and I would rather have alot of great memories than alot of money at the end of the road. Can't put a price on those little things and you certainly can't buy time is all I'm sayin
