Oh yes. Noises drive me crazy. I spent a few weeks trying to locate a rattle under the truck. Sounded like a loose heat shield that would rattle over sharp edged low speed bumps like road cracks and tar strips. Must have climbed under the truck a dozen times. Turned out it was the leaf springs. A bit O’ lube and it was quiet. For awhile at least. But now I know what the source is.

This is exactly why the wife comes to me with brakes that are metal on metal or blown out wheel bearings. I really should ride in her vehicles more.

    12v refrigerator
I've been very happy with mine.

Driving rattles, reminds me of growing up and my dad hated any kind of rattling. Always telling us to find the noise and make it stop.

I read T.W threads of noises, vibes, shakes and rattles that members attribute to driver side....
How many of you sit or have ever rode in your passenger side or the back?
What kind of rhythmic vibes will you feel over there?
    I'll never know.

I rode in the passenger seat only 1 time in my truck. That's the only time I've let my wife drive it. That was most scary half mile of my life.

Most of the stuff I hear on the drivers side cannot be heard on the passenger. My daughter is a new driver so I make her drive the truck Good to be on that side once in a while

It's always a weird experience riding passenger in my truck. Feels strange since it happenes so rarely. Definitely notice the lean more as a passenger

It's definitely strange riding passenger. I never have in the 3rd gen, yet.
I rode passenger in the 1st gen a couple times and once in the access cab...I wasn't going to have a 300# BBW (my friends sister) try to squeeze back there.

Edit: Extended cab in the 1st gen. even tougher to crawl into.

I think we all know how our trucks are supposed to sound and feel, so even slight changes no one else would sense, we pick up on. My Tacoma has this slight, slow, rhythmic grinding on the front passenger side. As erotic as that sounds, I'm the only one who feels of hears it. I've taken it to a mechanic and had him pull apart the wheel bearings but he says they're fine. It's a slower rhythm than the wheel rotation and doesn't correlate the the RPM of the engine.

NO ONE ELSE HEARS IT and it drives me nuts. I have fixed it by turning the radio volume UP.

Warped rotor came to mind but you mentioned it was slower than wheel rotation....

Yeah, I've had them check the brakes, too. Plus I had the pads and rotors replaced a few months ago and the noise persists.

Well, I suppose I should take advantage of the warm weather. Toss in some new fog lights and the bed tie downs that I got from secret Santa. Truck is super ultra mega filthy and it's also wet out so I'm thinking bump stops will be another day

    I'll take rain over snowblowing.

Had to mention to my new 2nd pressman, from MO of all places, that just because it's warming up doesn't mean winter is over. :D
