Installation Instructions

Location: Local only or 150 miles from 82401 Items are located in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming (82401). Shipping is insane and cost prohibitive. I'm willing to drive 150 miles any direction from 82401 for the cost of fuel -- let's negotiate via PMs. Otherwise, come by the house and I'll help you load everything.

Will you ship?: I will consider shipping the accessory plates or the bed stiffeners for the right buyer if shipping is at the buyer's expense.

For Sale: Leitner Designs Active Cargo Systems (forged) rack for a DCSB or any short bed Toyjota Taco + accessories pictured. The price ALL-IN I am asking for everything pictured is $2000 cash via PayPal. That is over 40% off the base cost of the items. Once you factor in tax and shipping you are getting this rack for ~ 50% off. I priced it to sell as I need to free up space to work on my 79 Dually.

Conditions: The items are lightly used and show little signs of wear and tear. All items pictured will be pressure washed and scrubbed with mild soap + hot water before pickup. You'll get clean stuff.

==> The only thing you may need is a few replacement button cap bolts whose heads are rounded or you can replace them with security lock bolts from Leitner. Check out their parts page. That may cost you $25 - $50 bucks depending on which route you go.

Why are you selling?: Traded the Taco (which I love) for a full size that can tow my 8' x 24' car hauler. I may eventually get a Leitner Rack for it b/c it is so functional.

I'm willing to keep the pods and part out the rack accessories if the price for the whole kit is just too much on your wallet. .6 x retail base cost = what I am offering these items at (local pickup only although I'll drive 150 miles to meet you from 82401). My asking for 60% of the retail base cost works out to your getting these items at over 50% off when you factor in tax and shipping.

$1170 for only the ACS forged rack if you don't need the pods, stiffeners, accessory mounting plates, and rotopax.

(Nah, I really wish I had the time to take a trip to Yellowstone and pick these up on the way!)

 

The drive from Texas is a beat down. I have done it 2x. I have family in Fort Worth off Camp Bowie and my brother is just north of the raceway in Roanoke. Pretty drive but long AF especially if you are towing with the Taco and struggling to maintain 75.

If I can't find any buyers in the next few months from ID, CO, MT, or WY I may work in a trip to see family and if you're still interested I'll bring the rack. Will reach out if you are serious about it and if I cannot get someone in Big Sky country to buy it.

Last bump before the gear pods and rotopax mounts are re-purposed. Any interest in the rack as pictured with all accessories? Next time it is up it will just be the ACS forged rack with no other accessories.
