I am planning to buy this Tacoma, 2020 TRD OR (I'm actually picking it up Thursday), It has a dent on the DS door with some rust peaking through at a point on the dent where the paint is damaged. I looked through a couple of threads and am thinking Ill pick a Dr Color Chip kit based on consensus, but obviously I need to repair the dent first.

Do you suggest anything specifically for me to fix this? Like a glue gun and dent puller or just heat it up and push it out as best i can from inside the door, then apply the paint touch up? Of course I can take it to a pro as well, but looking to save money of course.

I am all ears! Thank you!~

    PDR or a body shop

or better yet, previous owner using their insurance for what it's there for
that they're legally required to have and clearly can afford

You're not fixing that with PDR and touch up paint. Take it to a reputable body shop.

Too many good deals out there right now for that not to be fixed by the seller for it to be worth your while.

Thanks all, the truck was actually a really good price, which is why I decided to take on this defect.

Based on the overwhelming initial consensus, ill get an estimate at a shop

That is going to be about $1800-2500
Depends on how much paint blending the shop will do

If the body shop says they’re repair it anyone with a good eye will be able to pick out the repair(especially if they don’t blend into the front fender and rear door). Personally I’d have them replace the door and blend the paint into the front fender and the rear door, the A pillar and roof edge are small enough that a small variation won’t be noticeable there. 3-5k cost.
