Some recent things....

 

These are cars that will have to be redone that have been setting awhile. When you do mods it doesn't always work out. The paint on the 39-40 Ford went on nice but a few days later it started lifting. The Studebaker pick up is waiting for different wheels that will fit. Getting anything to "fit " is a problem with out a lot of cutting. The yellow Camaro has issues with wheel fit and then I broke the chassis in half grinding out the wheel wells. The Brown Vicky is my favorite. Never work on these when you are dead tired like I was working on this one. I put the motor in backwards and didn't notice.

 

These all received wheel swaps and the altered also received new paint after I masked off the decals. I already have a purple version of this car. The Comet was on here before. Just picked up 5 1/24 scale diecast pick ups to take apart. 2 69 F100s, 2 72 F100s and a 66 C10. Will be 2 toning 2 of them and wheels will be swapped.

 

What do you think? Did it turn out ok. You can be honest I can take it. HAHA

Back at it again yall! Hope the weekends been great for everyone so far. I had some errands to run with my righteous lady today and we decided to make a few HW stops along the way. So stoked and thankful we stopped where we did, ended up paying off. Here’s the haul from today from about 4 different locations. Was really looking for the silver Benz, everything else was icing on the cake. Much peace till next time.

 

Franklin Mint 97 Corvette 1/24

 

Danbury Mint 62 Corvette.

 

Drooling over the 62 Corvette. We used to have a place locally that sold Franklin Mints at $120 each.

 

It’s pretty detailed. Wheels turn with the steering wheel. I’m in a tub now that’s all larger scale. Mostly drag buses but this next one is pretty cool.
