Picked up 50# of cattle goat and sheep sweet feed and enough ivermectin to treat 1500# of animals... Gonna grab some molasses to mix with some water and the ivermectin so I can mix it into the sweet feed and put it out. Probably just going to wind up with parasite free racoons if history has taught me anything... But maybe the deer will find it lol

And as far as the debate on weapons, I will never forget a couple bow hunting only friends chastising me for using a rifle. This after telling me what time the deer showed up in front of their blinds on camera at their bait piles lol. Use what you want as long as it's legal. Try hunting without all the advantages once in a while. You may have forgotten just how fun it is.

Last year my nephew shot a buck that was filled near head to toe with bot flys... But they have also done studies showing ivermectin may help with fleas, ticks and ear mites; bottom line, the more parasites I can keep off the deer, the more meat winds up in the freezer, and potentially more antlers on the wall... I figured February was a great time to put it out as food sources are pretty scarce so hopefully they are less picky, and the ivermectin label said not to give it to horses under 6 months, and since fawns won't drop for several months, there should be no risk there... Unless it's bad for pregnancy. The med was $16 and the feed was $13, so I figured ~$30 to help the health of the herd is well worth it, and if it doesn't work I'm out one box of ammo I couldn't find anyway lol

I know how that is, if he jumps, ducks, lunges forward, or squats to pee, we got him covered :fistbump:

A moving target always increases your chances of a hit somewhere on the body area.

My uncle used to say lead a deer 10’ if it’s running. And 5’ if it’s not.
