I enjoy Angel’s Envy, so thought I’d give this finished rye bottle a try. I enjoy it and the rum really stands out. It would be a great dessert bourbon, or something to finish a night off with as a night cap.

And, seeing the Parker’s Heritage Rye above….I had an opportunity to buy that bottle last month and passed on it…should have come here and asked about it. Oh well….

I was trying to avoid opening any bottles this month, but I caved. I've had quite a few RR private selections in the last few years and my general consensus is they are good but not worth the extra coin when compared to the RR Single Barrel shelfies. But....this one is absolutely delicious. IMG_0252.jpg

I have a friend who is super into all the RR warehouse details, the last couple of months he’s had a lot of good things to say about Tyrone K (TY-K)

Well, I enjoyed that Buffalo Trace, and as I said, new to drinking bourbon. Poured a couple ounces and let it breath for a while...wonderful flavor. Not used to 90 proof spirits, so it was a warm and calming experience. Had a little bit last night as well. Thanks for all the info. provided in this thread.

Opinions on rebel 100? It was $25 so not expecting something spectacular but I’ve seen rebel mentioned occasionally

K&L wines has a few Rebel Cask Strength picks for under $30 that are excellent. Can’t speak to the 100 though

I really enjoy this bottle. Getting close to the end on this one, but I have a few backups :)

I do like rebel 100 and recommend it. And full disclosure, I may have been the one mentioning it. It’s one of the lower cost bottles that hits above its price tag.

I've pretty much tried every whiskey available in local stores. What's out of region that I should order? (under $60-80 bourbon ideally)

Haven’t had a pour in a long time. Had picked this up because I tend to like higher proofed wheaters.

It’s ok, but has this vaguely unpleasant note that I can’t place. Almost bitter.

I've not had the 100, but there was a bottle of their base offering at my cousins funeral last year. I was pleasantly surprised, while I wouldn't call it a great sipper. For the price point it will get you by in a pinch and would probably make a really good mixer if you into that.

Some delectables from north of the border. Long over due meet with @VXEric. Sippin the Lot 40 already, she’s got some oak on her! Thanks again!

That's the best price I've seen for it in years.
