I got new tires put on (same size) but after I got them back I noticed a few days later that I'm getting a weird noise.

It's like an oscillating low vibration I can hear and feel but only at low speeds (under 10 mph). When I get up to speed (above 35+) I can't feel or hear it. It's most noticeable when I'm under 10 mph. I checked and don't see anything rubbing. Can't figure out what the sound is.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

Take It back to where you got the tires and let them check it out. If they are reputable and honest maybe they can figure it out and resolve it. Thats where I’d at least start.

Correction - the sounds are 15-25 mph. I'm thinking it's the wheel balance. They used steel weights on my wheels instead of the usual stick ons. Which is upsetting if there's now damage to my wheels.

I'm suprised no one asked the obvious what tires did you come off of and what did you put on?
I to vote for balance related issue

I had some Coopers and went with the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. Same size at 285/75/16.

The AT3Ws can get flat spots if allowed to sit for a day, but it goes away after a few miles. Is the vibration all the time at that speed, or only at the start of the day?

Ok it's not like you come off a street tire to an MT as that bring some interesting "vibrations"

Yeah no the vibrations are there even after driving for a bit. Definitely something new. 15-25 mph. Once above 30 mph can't feel or hear it. It's a low oscillating vibration - almost like a grind. Can hear and feel it. I'm going to take it back to get rebalanced. Definitely not rubbing anything that I can see. Not wheel bearing either (I know what that sounds like since I had one go bad and had to replace).

All tires make noise, some are just louder than others. And the noise changes with speed, pavement type and even with age. Most tires get louder as they wear. This may well be normal.

No - I've had a number of different A/T tires on this truck. And trust me, my Coopers got really loud towards the end of it's life. This is something that's not supposed to happen. I have a feeling now that it may be a balance issue.

Issue solved - it was a balance issue. Had them rebalance the wheels and no more vibration.
