Greetings - new member here - 2016 Tacoma & 2001 Tundra w/30k Miles)

Greetings Tacoma world !

I’ve been looking around on Tacoma world for many years, but just recently created an account.

My fleet consists of a 2016 Tacoma TRD sport. That I purchased new and has 88k miles. I put some BFG KO2 tires in it about 4 years ago. It has been a great truck so far and look forward to driving it for many more years. This is my daily driver.

next up in the fleet is a 2001 Tundra Long bed - 6 cylinder (5VZFE engine.) with only 30,500 original miles. That’s right 30k miles on the 2001. My wife inherited this truck from her grandfather who bought it new in 2001, and he rarely ever drove it. She inherited it from him around 2013 and it only had about 20k miles then. So we’ve added roughly 10k miles in 10 years. This truck is awesome ! My wife claims this one as her truck though, she never drives it, so I make sure it gets at least 15-20 miles on it per week. (It’s our Sunday afternoon vehicle)

Anyways- glad to be here. Looking forward to getting advice and knowledge from other Tacoma owners on keeping our Toyota fleet in tip top condition ! Especially Since the tundra is at 30k miles now. I’ll be searching the forums and posting some questions about maintaining a 2001 with low miles. We’ve never done much other than have oil changed, Tires rotated, and air filters. This morning I replaced all the engine belts since one was cracked due to old age.
