My screen says my total average is 16.9L/100km (13.9mpg). IDK how people are getting close to 20mpg. I get about 16 on the highway going 110kph (68mph).

Just Continental TerrainContact A/T tires which all reports suggest are better than the OEM Wranglers for fuel economy. They are lighter, less aggressive, and better for pavement use. Didnt notice much of a difference in MPG with the swap myself. Same size as OEM. No lift. Nothing.

My truck is bone stock when it comes to anything MPG-related. My mods are all cosmetic (like LED lighting) or convenience based (pop & lock, bed mat, ect..)

My gauge could also be incorrect. IDK. When I fill her up, it always says 620km (380miles) in range left. It always goes down faster than that though.

Edit: I lied. I do technically have an engine or tire mod. I have the wider rubber opening the TRD Intake comes with. The intake is stock but I added the wider mouth thingy from the TRD intake for $50. Not sure what to call it. That's relatively new though, and I haven't noticed a difference with or without it.

This thing on the left (stock is right):

With my stock size winter tires, -30`C and winter blend I was doing +18L/100km which is the same mpg you got. Cold and winter gas kill. I haven't reset my eco readings yet but we're hovering around 0`C now so in theory it'll be better. I know in the summer I was getting 16-17mpg if I was lucky with skinny 33s and short commutes because I live very central. A drive to work is only 2km, stores are of similar distance.

It’s surprising how much of a difference it makes! It was -10C yesterday, and now up to around 0 now, I averaged 17.8L/100km yesterday on the 17km trip home, and now today with the warmer temps it was 14.2L/100km, same 17km trip home and I even let it run for a good 10 minutes before leaving work.

Just filled my up a few miles after the low fuel warning came on. Around 18 gallons, and it gives me 297 miles until empty. 2020 auto DCLB with 1500 miles and last tank average shows 16.3. That’s probably 80/20 city/hwy driving. I’m going to use the trip and see how many miles I actually get until the next fill up since I’m assuming the computer takes your average and does some math to get the Drive to empty number.

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Falken Rubitrek AT 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
My 2017 Sport with leveling and KO2s 33s shows range of 385 constantly when I fill it. I put in one of those speedo calibrator boxes to convert everything on speedo and computer. I’m getting 18.5 local driving. I took highway trip, driving 70ish and saw computer showing 21 MPG at one point. I’m on a mission and plan to run it dry and check everything with pen and calculator to see what’s really happening. I plan to exceed the 385 and fill up at about 400 and see how many gallons I can get in. I assume fuel light will come on.

So i have been noticing the same thing . I fill up my gas tank every time i go to the gas pump. When i 1st got the truck of the lot, the gas rang on the dash bored read 367 miles. Now when i go to the gas pump i been only getting 287 miles on the dash bored and with the gas tank needle indicating full. Only twice have i been able to get above 340 on the range display on the dash bored.

I think the gas station are steeling from the consumer. Any thoughts??

I say , it all depends; - when I fill up at Costco , Pilot (I heard is owned by McDonalds) or Circle K , I get at least 50 miles more of a tank, compare to small gas station. Try it for yourself , these companies help people save money, just like dollar stores. Is their gas any good? I don't know, so far, so good for me. on the other hand , The little gas station with 2 pumps in a small town has to compete somehow, don't you think so? one more thing; your truck fuel range calculated by average speed, for example; if you drove your last gas tank in town , you'll most likely see ( 290 -300 to empty). Now, when you drive on highway meaning 55-60mph , it'll show 350-390 . where as above 70mph, I will get around 320 miles. The bottom line is ; you'll have to get gas from same gas, same location and drive save road-highway and same distance to get the correct answer. I am sorry if can't explain myself , but hope you get my point!.

I know... I was reading it thinking, hmm, haven't we been through this? It's winter, MPGs go down... Computers lie. My truck has never ran out of gas, so I must have a bottomless tank.
