Ok gang. Got one that may be easy for some of y'all more experienced types. I bought an '02 DLX a few weeks back and it has an empty spot in the dash. Looks like the airbag switch was removed. How easy is this to replace (if there is a connector, it's fallen pretty far down the hole)? Plug and play?

Double Cab. If not a switch, is it just a blanking plate?

Yep. Double cab don't have the switch, just a cover plate.

Yes. DCs do not have an airbag switch.

The switch is there in xtra cabs because you might have to put a child seat in the front seat. So they give you the option to turn off the airbag so it doesn’t deploy into a baby or young child.

In a DC they assume you’re putting the child seat/child in the back seats. So no airbag switch needed.
