I have an 06 dblcab short bed 4x4 and really need to replace the headlights. Just wondering if anyone had any input on these. Thanks!

Is that a TRS product or TRS parts a guy used

if you’re curious how a projector performs, look up reviews on the projector and see if it fits. They’re all different. Some are good some are bad.

premade headlights tend to be very expensive, and cost a lot more than doing the wiring and bulbs upgrade. Or the other bulbs upgrade that doesn’t require better wiring. Into a set of non messed up housings.

If you're looking to replace your headlights, what is more important to you; looks or performance? You can only pick one.

Not true at all...? It's just a matter of how much you want to spend. You can certainly get both looks and performance out of a high end aftermarket unit. A nice aftermarket retrofit from a reputable seller or modder here on TW can achieve both looks and performance.
    For example: https://www.extremeterrain.com/mori...UXT18-pMiioboJENVCYaAl7QEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

And in my experience, cheap lights will offer neither. Headlights are the one area where you definitely don't want to cheap out because it can become a legit hazard to you and other drivers.

A projector LED/HID retrofit is worth the money! You can DIY, 05-11 headlights are much easier than the 12-15 to align the projector.

I would avoid aftermarket chinese projectors for retros. They have no uplight and will be vision very limiting. All OEM headlights have uplight, reduced light intensity above the cut off so you can see beyond your low beam. Without uplight in areas without ambient light, you cannot see beyond the low beam cut off at all, it will be pitch black as your vision will also be limited by the high contrast at the cut off. It isn't a legitimate headlight pattern. If you are going to do a D2S retro, use OEM Lexus RX350 projectors which will be better performing and have the proper uplight in the pattern.

Can't say much about Morimoto projectors, but that Pornhub sticker will reduce visibility.

Built to blind you at night and fling rocks all over other cars while it fucks up its own paint in the process.
