I have a stock 2023 TRD off road. Im looking to keep the tires 265/75 16 but looking to upgrade the rims. I started hearing about offset. I dont fully understand offset, but I know I dont want to lift and I dont want to rub.

How much offset can I do before I start having rubbing? I found a set of rims I like but they are 16x8 -12mm 6x139.7 Is 12mm too much? Do I just need to find rims with no offset?
