What are the chances you buy a salvage truck with rear end suspension issues then insurance pays you out for buying a salvage truck that you purchased from a slavage company that you put atleast 20k miles on (do they actually do that?) and then you buy the same exact truck and have rear end issues after you replace the rear suspension that was on the last same model and year truck?

Did you take these leafs off of your truck that has rear end issues?

    Isnt this weird?

I don't work anymore, but when I did I busted my azz for every dollar I made.... 30+ years worth.
I did daum good work for a reasonable price and got burned a few times after the fact with non-payment for services rendered.

So when I pay good money for someone to do something I expect it to be 100%.

I don't think it's an unreasonable request to have work done correctly when I'm reaching into my wallet.

But give 'em a chance to make it good.

Dude, she's trolling the board with her truck that was salvaged because of suspension issues. This is more than a taco lean or an aftermarket suspension parts issue. Something is wrong with her truck geometry.

Measurements from both rear sides on level ground (lay a bubble level flat on the pavement to confirm) up to the same fixed point on the frame on each side near axle as well as between the leaf top to frame, will give a indication of the frame squareness.
2 days of discussion on this has assumed a square frame rear.

If the frame is really bent than either have it straightened or put a lift block on the side that is low. No reason to string along people trying to help. It's not like you have many options with a bent frame. I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and say this is a different truck though.

Truck geometry is perfect. Confirmed with ICON that there leaf spring failed. Some of you are why people hate asking questions on here.

Glad to hear. Good reminder that a new part can fail or be defective.

Definitely one of the downsides but hopefully you got some helpful suggestions. I’m glad you got it figured out!

You’ll run into both types anywhere. Wheat vs chaff. Glad you got it sorted.
